Case Description
Detained in the occupied part of Luhansk region no later than February 2023 was 30-year-old local resident, Ukrainian citizen with forced Russian citizenship Ruslan Domarev. He was accused of state treason, as well as illegal acquisition, storage, transportation and carrying of explosive devices, ammunition and large-caliber weapons. The investigation determined the use of one's official position as an aggravating circumstance. According to the Russian security forces, from September 2022 to February 2023, Domarev collected and transmitted information about the deployment of units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Svatovsky and Kremensky districts of the LPR to the Ukrainian special services through an Internet messenger. In addition, allegedly found and seized illegally stored weapons, ammunition and explosives at his place of residence. At the time of the investigation, the defendant in the case was placed under guard.
