На границе с Латвией в пункте пропуска «Убилинка – Гребнево» при попытке выехать с оккупированной территории через Россию и ЕС в Украину 20 февраля 2023 года российские силовики задержали 34-летнего гражданина Украины, жителя Генического района Херсонской области Романа Заринского. Его вывезли в неизвестном направлении, с тех пор о нём ничего неизвестно.
Его разыскивают родственники и друзья.
