Case Description
In Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, no later than July 2024, 30-year-old local resident Roman Valevsky was detained. He was accused of justifying terrorism and high treason. The details of the charges are unknown. Presumably, the charge of justifying terrorism is related to certain comments about the explosion on the Crimean Bridge, and the charge of state treason was brought against the man due to a donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The court placed the defendant in the case in the SIZO. No later than October 2025, the 1st Eastern Military Court found Roman Valevsky guilty and sentenced him to 15 years in a strict regime penal colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
