Case Description
In the village of Parfenyevo, Kostroma region, at the end of 2023 (the exact date is unknown), a criminal case was opened for "fakes" about the Russian army on the grounds of political hatred against the local 27-year-old resident Roman Losyakin. 3 November 2022 he reposted a video about "Bucha" on VKontakte. All myths about the nobility of the Russian army have long been debunked. Losyakin himself left Russia after the start of mobilization in September 2022, lives and works in the USA. MIA announced him wanted. 9 October 2024, the Neysky District Court of the Kostroma Region found Roman Losyakin guilty and sentenced him in absentia to six months of restriction of liberty. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
