Case Description
In the Krasnodar Territory at Sochi airport no later than October 2025, 20-year-old Robert Konovalov from Tuapse was detained. He was accused of repeatedly engaging in propaganda and publicly displaying Nazi paraphernalia, participating in the activities of a terrorist organization, as well as inciting and recruiting individuals for terrorist activities. According to the investigation, from June 2023 to May 2024, the young man repeatedly published photos and videos with the symbols of extremist organizations banned in Russia on his social media page. In January 2025, acting on the instructions of a 'foreign curator,' he personally communicated with acquaintances, promoting the activities of a banned terrorist organization and persuading them to move to Ukrainian territory to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He managed to recruit three Russians. Following a request from the investigation, the court chose detention as a preventive measure for the case's defendant.
