Case Description
A criminal case for treason was opened in Izhevsk against a 19-year-old local resident, Renata Miftakhutdinova. The date of her detention is unknown. According to law enforcement, in 2023, the girl, who was 17 years old at the time, established contact with a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine through a chatbot, who offered her assistance in gathering information. As a result, she received an assignment to collect coordinates, photographs, and information about one of the local industrial enterprises. on the same day from the balcony of a residential building, she took photographs of an industrial enterprise associated with the military-industrial complex. She also found the coordinates of this place on the Internet and passed them on to the GUR of Ukraine via Telegram. The court placed the defendant in the case in a remand prison. July 25, 2025, the Supreme Court of the Udmurt Republic found Renata Miftakhutdinova guilty and sentenced her to 6.6 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
