Case Description
Ukrainian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Petro Vrubelvskyi, speaking about the full-scale war in his country on August 21, 2022, said in an interview with local blogger Dias Kuzairov: "We are trying to kill them as much as possible. The more Russians we kill now, the fewer our children will have to kill. On October 18, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Petro Vrublyevsky. In February 2024, Vrebelovsky was included in the Rosfinmonitoring list as being involved in a crime of an extremist nature. He was put on the wanted list. On February 24, 2024, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow issued an in absentia arrest warrant for Vrublesky. On May 12, 2025, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow found Pyotr Vrublevsky guilty and sentenced him in absentia to six years in a general regime colony.
