Case Description
Petr Borovinsky has two criminal cases opened against him due to posts in the VKontakte public group "Kopeisk Without Putin's Fascism." In April 2022, a case was opened against him for spreading false information about the Russian armed forces due to posts about the shelling of Mariupol. At the end of August, a second case became known: due to anti-war posts about the celebration of May 9, he was charged under an article on disrespect for Days of Military Glory and memorable dates related to the defense of the Fatherland. On April 6, 2022, Borovinsky was also fined 45 thousand rubles under an administrative article on discrediting the Russian army. On February 7, 2025, the Chelyabinsk Regional Court issued a ruling on the application of compulsory medical measures to Petr Borovinsky.
