Case Description
In Penza in April 2024, 23-year-old Pavel Prokudkin, a trash streamer from Volgograd, was detained. Under escort, he was brought to his place of registration, in Volgograd, where a criminal case was opened against him for 'inciting hatred or enmity.' The reason for the criminal prosecution was the blogger's stream on TikTok on April 4, in which he called Russian soldiers "cannon fodder", and that the participants of the SVO "should not live", since "there is no use from them. Mizulina wrote a denunciation against him. On April 24, 2024, the Central District Court of Volgograd sent Prokudin to a pre-trial detention center. On December 11, 2024, the Krasnoarmeysky District Court of Volgograd found Pavel Prokudinin guilty and sentenced him to 2.5 years in a penal colony-settlement. On March 6, 2025, the Volgograd Regional Court upheld the verdict.
