On January 16, 2024, the Sovetsky District Court of Kazan found Pavel Chumakov guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 200 thousand rubles. The man was also banned from administering websites for two years. The laptop seized from him during the search was ordered to be returned. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
