Case Description
A criminal case was opened in Ryazan for public calls to carry out activities aimed against state security against local resident Olga Senina. Date of initiation of the case and detention is unknown. According to the investigation, Senina posted a comment calling for the collection of funds to purchase a medical vehicle for the 93rd Mechanized Brigade "Kholodny Yar" (93 OMRB), which is a tactical unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Senina herself reported that the call to collect money was intended to purchase a medical vehicle for her brother. The defendant in the case was taken under a written undertaking not to leave during the investigation. On July 22, 2024, the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Ryazan found Olga Senina guilty and sentenced her to 3.5 years in prison in a general regime colony and deprivation of the right to administer websites on the Internet for 3 years. The woman was taken into custody in the courtroom. On November 25, 2024, the Ryazan Regional Court left the sentence unchanged.
