Case Description
In Ivanovo, no later than January 2024 (the exact date is unknown), a criminal case was initiated for financing extremist activities against local resident Olga Novozhilkova. According to the investigation, Novozhilova, sharing the ideology of the banned AUE movement, on May 21, 2021, and from January 31 to February 1, 2023, using Sberbank and QIWI wallet, transferred 1,356 rubles to the 'obshchak' of AUE cell members on the territory of IK-4 in the Ivanovo region. For the duration of the investigation, the court placed Novozhilova under house arrest. On 7 June 2024, the Leninsky District Court of Ivanovo found Olga Novozhilkova guilty and sentenced her to four years of imprisonment with a probationary period of four years." The woman was released on her own recognizance not to leave. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
