In Omsk at the end of 2022, a criminal case was opened about "fakes" about the Russian army on the grounds of political hatred against cardiologist Olga Belova, former chairman of the Omsk branch of the Alliance of Doctors trade union of medical workers. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a certain video with "fakes" about the war with Ukraine, posted on a social network by a user with the nickname "MOV. The details of the charges are unknown. Earlier, the woman was fined twice under an administrative article on discrediting the army, and was also fired from the dispensary where she worked as a nurse due to her anti-war position. In December 2023, Belov was put on wanted list. On May 3, 2024, the Leninsky District Court of the Omsk Region found Olga Belova guilty and sentenced her in absentia to six years in a general regime colony. Also, the court prohibited Belova from administering websites on the Internet for four years.
