Case Description
A second case was opened against former military serviceman Oleg Borisenko from Tambov for repeated 'discrediting' of the Russian army. The reason for the criminal prosecution was Borisenko's video address to his former cadets, in which he calls on them not to go to war in Ukraine and calls what is happening there a "genocide." Earlier, the Sosnovsky District Court of the Tambov Region sentenced Borisenko to six years of probation in a case of repeated 'discreditation' of the Russian army. In May 2022, a man was fined 30 thousand rubles under an administrative article on discrediting the army due to a sticker with a crossed-out letter Z on the glass of his car.
