Case Description
Nikolai Ulitin is accused of organizing the activities of an organization undesirable in Russia. According to the investigation and the court, Ulitin is a pastor of the 'Church of Christians of the Evangelical Faith Pentecostals "Christ the Savior"'. He served in the stanitsa of Poltavskaya together with his wife, read sermons at the conference of "young Christians" on the Black Sea coast. Some pro-Kremlin media claimed that the pastors participated in the events on the Maidan in 2014, supported the protests in Belarus in August 2020, and financed "Ukrainian nationalists." Investigators discovered that the bishop was involved in the activities of the Ukrainian church 'New Generation,' which is recognized as undesirable in Russia.
