On March 6, 2024, the Penza Regional Court found the defendants in the case guilty and, by partially combining the sentences, sentenced Danila Nikitin to 8 years in prison to be served in a correctional colony, and Nikolai Porvatkin, Igor Moiseev, and Ruziboy Polvonov to 11 years in prison each, with the first two years to be served in prison, and the remaining part of the sentence in a strict regime correctional colony. On July 1, 2024, the Fourth Appellate Court of General Jurisdiction upheld the verdict.
