He contacted a representative of this organization through Telegram and expressed a desire to participate in its activities. Lavrentyev sent messages to his acquaintances about the activities and slogans of the organization, and also published a comment in a public Telegram community containing calls for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center. June 11, 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Nikolai Lavrentyev guilty and sentenced him to 11 years in prison, the first 3 years he must serve in prison, and the remaining term - in a strict regime colony. Additionally, he was prohibited from engaging in activities related to posting comments on the Internet for 2 years. On October 2, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
