Case Description
On July 31, 2023, in Podolsk, 76-year-old pensioner Nikolai Kaplin from Moscow threw a bottle with an incendiary mixture at the door of the local military enlistment office. He was immediately detained by Rosgvardia officers. There was no fire. During the interrogation, the pensioner said that he became a victim of fraudsters who, by deception, forced him to take out a loan of 2.5 million from Sberbank. 3. rubles and transfer them. After the arson, the pensioner was promised to return part of the money.
