On December 17, 2025, in the Malopurginsky district of the Udmurt Republic, 52-year-old local resident Nikolai Kallistatov was detained. He was accused of inciting hatred or enmity and humiliating human dignity, committed publicly using the Internet network. An aggravating circumstance was the use of violence or the threat of its use. According to the investigation, in June 2025, Kalistratov publicly posted on a social network a post that contained offensive statements against a police officer, as well as calls for hostile and violent actions against him. On December 17, 2025, the Malopurginsky District Court refused to detain the man and chose a measure of restraint for him in the form of a ban on certain actions. On December 25, 2025, the Supreme Court of the Udmurt Republic overturned this decision and sent the case defendant into custody.
