Case Description
Early in November 2023, a criminal case for 'discrediting' the Russian army was opened against a 70-year-old veteran of military service in Penza. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a repost of a 10-minute video clip by journalist Yevgeny Kiselyov about Bucha in "Odnoklassniki. Video footage shows destroyed Russian military equipment and the voice of a local resident saying: "Whoever came to us with a sword will perish by the sword." 3.
