Evseenko was accused of sabotage and attempted sabotage, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy and involving a minor in the commission of a crime. On March 4, 2024, the Volodarsky District Court of Bryansk chose Yevseyenko a measure of restraint in the form of detention. November 21, 2024, the Bryansk Regional Court found the defendants guilty and sentenced Nikolai Evseenko to 15 years in prison, with the first 3 years to be served in prison, and the rest in a strict regime colony.
