Baranov Nikolay Andreevich

Ryazan resident Nikolai Baranov was accused of intentional damage to property. According to the investigation, the Ryazan resident was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and planned to set fire to the military enlistment office building after learning that his acquaintance had received a summons. However, Baranov confused the buildings and threw two Molotov cocktails into a structure belonging to the Moscow District Court. The fire did not spread, so it did not damage the building and the property inside it; only the window grilles, window blocks, and windowsill were damaged. The amount of damage amounted to 45 thousand rubles. Baranov admitted his guilt and requested that a sentence be passed without a court hearing. On June 7, 2023, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Ryazan sentenced Nikolai Baranov to one year of compulsory labor.
