According to the prosecution's version, on January 20, 2024, Bogomolov unauthorizedly left his military unit in Novorossiysk and returned to Kirov. There, on July 9, he joined the "Russian Volunteer Corps" (RDK) and decided to recruit new members. From July 21 to August 21, Bogomolov persuaded his former classmate with the surname Vorobyev to join the RDK, telling him how to do it and assuring him that there would be no criminal liability for this.
