Case Description
In March 2023, the Investigative Committee's Investigative Directorate for the Republic of Ingushetia opened a criminal case for repeated "discrediting of the army" against Nazir Tseytov, a resident of Nazran. According to the investigation, Tsechoev, through an account named "FT" on the social network "Telegram" on the Fan Club website "Readers of the Draft, often posted during correspondence with other users of the site reposts, textual comments containing discreditation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the conduct of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. During the investigation, Tsechoev was released on his own recognizance not to leave. In March 2022, Tsetsoev was fined under an administrative article on "discrediting the army" due to comments in Telegram with the text "Putin's Nazists promised a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol, but when the evacuation began, they opened fire on it" and "From every window, something can fly at the occupiers!", 1.
