Case Description
On October 23, 2024, at 23:40 local time in Perm, near the building of the local branch of the United Russia party on st. Plekhanova St., d." "12, two women approached who threw several bottles with an incendiary mixture into the windows." One of the women was filming what was happening on video, the second was breaking the windows, and then set them on fire with a burner. One of the women was injured in the process - her sleeve caught fire. After the women fled. As a result of the arson, the office of the organizational department of the executive committee completely burned down, the papers of the United Russia party members, equipment and other property burned down, as well as the cargo that was supposed to be sent from the office to the front. The area of the fire was 40 sq. m. meters, the building sustained significant fire damage and partially collapsed. There are no casualties. It is reported that two days before the arson, a "batch of cargo to the front" was sent from the office." On the afternoon of October 24, 2024, two residents of the village of Imasy in the Gaynsky District of the Perm Territory were detained on charges of arson—49-year-old mother Natalya Degtyannikova and her 20-year-old daughter Ekaterina Degtyannikova. They were accused of intentional destruction of other people's property. On October 26, 2024, the Sverdlovsk District Court of the Perm Territory sent the defendants in the case under house arrest.
