Case Description
In Kirov, no later than September 24, 2024, a criminal case was opened for violating the law on 'foreign agents' against journalist and feminist activist Natalya Baranova. In May 2022, the Ministry of Justice included the journalist in the register of "foreign agents. At that time, Baranova was the content director of the educational project 'Greenhouse of Social Technologies,' and then began running the Telegram channel 'Surviving Activism.'" Baranova was sentenced at least four times on administrative cases for violating the order of activity of a "foreign agent", in all cases the reason for the protocols were posts in the telegram channel "Survival of Activism. The activist herself left Russia. The Ministry of Internal Affairs put her on the wanted list.
