Case Description
In November 2024, in occupied Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast, a 38-year-old local resident and Ukrainian citizen, Natalia Andronova, was detained. She was accused of inciting extremism and terrorism.
According to the FSB, the woman repeatedly posted calls on social media for violence and terrorist activities against a group of people identified on the basis of their nationality. The details of the charges and the pretrial detention measure imposed on her are unknown.
On June 11, 2025, the Southern District Military Court found Natalia Andronova guilty and sentenced her to six years of imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony. The court also banned her from administering websites for three years.
