Case Description
A criminal case was opened in Zhukovsky, Moscow Oblast, against a 41-year-old local resident, Natalya Dudreva, for the repeated "discrediting of the army." A search was conducted at her home. The reason for the criminal prosecution was two video clips on her personal page in one of the social networks. Details are unknown. On March 7, 2024, the Zhukovsky City Court of Moscow Oblast sent Dudreva to a pre-trial detention center. Earlier, on January 31, 2023, the Izmailovsky District Court of Moscow brought Dudreva to administrative responsibility under the article on discrediting the army due to a video in one of the social networks. According to the protocol, a woman with white-blue-white makeup on her forehead and a headdress imitating a machete with traces of blood appeared in the video. The woman is standing against the background of the Ukrainian flag. On July 16, 2024, the Zhukovsky City Court of Moscow Oblast found Natalya Dudreva guilty and sentenced her to a fine of 150 thousand rubles. Taking into account the period of Dudreva's detention in custody until the court's verdict, the punishment was mitigated to a fine of 100 thousand rubles. On September 3, 2024, the Moscow Oblast Court upheld the verdict.
