Case Description
On April 11, 2023, in Ukhta, 61-year-old Nadezhda Kornilova was detained. The woman allegedly threw two Molotov cocktails at the entrance door of the military enlistment office building on Promyshlennaya Street, 24. She was detained by a police officer who was on duty at the scene at the time. According to the investigation, Kornilova claimed that she acted on the instructions of law enforcement officers and the bank. Allegedly, according to them, a criminal who wants to steal her money is in the military enlistment office building, and she must set fire to the military enlistment office to detain him. A criminal case of terrorism was opened against the pensioner and she was sent to a pre-trial detention center. December 19, Judge Sergey Krivosheev of the 2nd Western District Court found Nadezhda Kornilova guilty and sentenced her to five years in a general regime colony.
