Case Description
In Tyumen, no later than October 2024, a criminal case was opened against 29-year-old local resident Mikhail Plesovskikh for treason, public calls for terrorism, and extremism. The details of the charges are unknown. The court placed the defendant in custody. On February 27, 2025, the Central Military District Court found Mikhail Plesovshchikov guilty and sentenced him to 20 years in a strict regime penal colony." September 11, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
