Его обвинили в публичном оправдании терроризма и в призывах к деятельности, направленной против безопасности государства. В качестве отягчающих обстоятельств следствие указало на совершение преступления в составе группы лиц с использованием интернета. Подробности обвинения неизвестны.
Вероятнее всего на время следствия фигуранта дела поместили под стражу.
22 апреля 2026 года 1-й Восточный окружной военный суд признал Михаила Лучкива виновным, размер наказания неизвестен.
