Case Description
In Moscow, no later than June 2022, a criminal case was initiated for calls to terrorism against 19-year-old local resident Mikhail Levanchuk. The reason for the criminal prosecution was two videos posted on VKontakte. It is unknown what exactly was in the videos. It is unknown whether a preventive measure has been chosen. The 2nd Western Military District Court found Mikhail Levanchuk guilty and sentenced him to imprisonment, the date and amount of the sentence are unknown. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force. At the end of July 2025, it became known that Levanchuk was released after serving his sentence.
