Fenko Mikhail Mikhaylovich

On June 5, 2024, in the city of Obninsk, Kaluga region, two local residents were detained - 61-year-old former military pilot, pensioner Mikhail Fenko and 28-year-old Pavel Khudyakov. According to the security forces, in August 2023, Fenko called some Ukrainian channel and told "Ukrainian curators" that he had learned about the shortage of pilots in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, spoke out against the SVO and was ready for monetary compensation to participate in the war on the side of Ukraine. Khudyakov, disagreeing with the conduct of the "special military operation, independently contacted a certain Ukrainian project through the internet in 2023 and expressed a desire to join the armed formations of Ukraine. Together with Fenko, they were tasked with finding out the coordinates of military objects in the Kaluga and Moscow regions, as well as reporting on the takeoff of Russian combat aircraft from the local airfield." Both residents of Obninsk have been officially warned about the inadmissibility of committing a crime related to state treason.
