Case Description
A criminal case was initiated in Irkutsk for public propaganda of terrorist activity against a local resident, Mark Orlan." Dates of initiation of the case and his detention are unknown. According to the investigation, Mark Orlan published statements in the status of his account in the WhatsApp messenger, which formed in other users the idea of the admissibility of carrying out terrorist activities, in particular, a terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall. There is no information about the measure of restraint. 13 November 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Mark Orlan guilty and sentenced him to 5 years imprisonment in a general regime colony. The court also deprived him of the right to engage in activities related to the publication of materials and administration of websites, forums, groups and chats on the Internet and messengers for 2 years.
