Case Description
In July 2023, in the Oryol region, the FSB detained 25-year-old local resident Mark Kislytsin. The media wrote that the detained person is a volunteer of the human rights media project 'OVD-Info', an activist of the LGBT movement, and is a transgender man. A man was accused of treason. According to the security forces, Kislytsin made a monetary transfer of $10 'to the account of a credit and financial institution of Ukraine for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.'", 3. From Oryol, Kislitsyn was transferred to Moscow, to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center. December 22, 2023, the Moscow City Court found Mark Kislytsin guilty and sentenced him to 12 years in a general regime colony. On June 3, 2024, the First Appellate Court of General Jurisdiction upheld the sentence.
