Case Description
On July 28, 2025, 35-year-old local resident Marina Dyomina was detained in Kurgan. She was accused of desecrating symbols of Russia's military glory, committed publicly. According to the investigation, on one of the weekend days in July 2025, a woman, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, danced at the memorial complex for the soldiers of the Trans-Urals who died in local wars and military conflicts. There is no information about the measure of restraint. On November 25, 2025, the Kurgan Regional Court found Marina Dyomina guilty and sentenced her to a fine of 1.1 million rubles. Taking into account the time spent in custody, the court reduced the final amount of the fine to 1 million rubles.
