Case Description
On April 21, 2018, Polish citizen Marian Radziewski was detained in Moscow. He was accused of espionage. According to the FSB's version, Radzaevski tried to obtain secret components of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and take them to Poland. Law enforcement officers claim that the defendant acted in the interests of a Polish organization that is the leading supplier for national armed forces and special services. The man was allegedly detained red-handed. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center. On June 25, 2019, the Moscow City Court found Marian Radzaewski guilty and sentenced him to 14 years in prison in a colony. On September 12, 2019, the Supreme Court of Russia left the sentence unchanged.
