Dovgopolyy Mamed Nikolaevich

Crimean authorities arrested Mamed Dolgopolov, a resident of Kherson Oblast, in June 2022. The security forces accused him of participating in the volunteer battalion named after. Nomana Chelebidzhikhan, who was also called the "personal bodyguard" of the battalion's creator Lenur Islamov. According to the FSB's version, Dolgopolov directly participated in the food blockade of Crimea and other actions in border areas, as well as personally provided armed protection for Lenur Islamov. A criminal case was opened against Dolgopolov for participating in the activities of an illegal armed formation and he was sent to a pre-trial detention center. The court sentenced Mamed Dolgopolov to 5 years in a strict regime colony.
