Case Description
On the night of June 21, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked several regions of the Russian Federation with drones at once, including the Krasnodar Territory. 43 aircraft were launched towards Kuban. Drone attacks targeted three municipalities in the Krasnodar Territory. In Temryuk district, drone debris fell on a guesthouse in the village of Volna." All residents were evacuated. No one was hurt. 2 people were injured in the Seversk district as a result of a UAV falling on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery. A fire broke out on an area of 50 sq. meters. He was liquidated by five in the morning. Air defense forces of Russia also repelled a drone attack in Yeysk district. In Krasnodar, drone debris fell on the territory of a boiler house next to the 'Yuzhny' bus station. As a result, people were injured. In addition, the building and buses were damaged. One person died. A criminal case was opened against 30-year-old Major Maksim Tabachuk, commander of the 65th Separate Rocket Artillery Division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the fact of a UAV attack. He was accused of organizing a terrorist act committed by an organized group that resulted in the death of a person. According to the investigation, in June 2024, Tabachuk, acting as part of an organized group under the leadership of the highest military and political leadership of Ukraine, in order to intimidate the peaceful population and destabilize the activities of the Russian authorities, gave an order to carry out a terrorist attack. As a result of a strike by two anti-ship missiles on the location of Russian servicemen in the Krasnodar Territory, people were killed and significant property damage was caused. Maxim Tabachuk was placed on the international wanted list. The court issued an in absentia ruling to detain him in custody.
