Case Description
A criminal case was opened in Kemerovo on 'calls for terrorism' due to a comment on VKontakte about the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. According to the investigation, on October 8, 2022, Maksim Smyshlyaev allegedly posted comments in the "Typical Kemerovo" group, which contained approval of the strike on the Crimean Bridge and a wish for Putin's death. He wrote the comments 'including from a special detention center for people who illegally arrived in the United States from other countries.' In Russia, Maksim Smyshlyaev was placed on federal wanted list. He is outside of Russia.
