A criminal case on calls to extremism has been opened in Kemerovo against a 33-year-old local resident Maxim Koreshkov. The date of his detention is unknown.

There is no information about the measure of restraint.
Earlier, in February 2023, the man was brought to administrative responsibility under articles on the publication of Nazi symbols and on incitement to hostility or hatred. According to the ruling of the Zavodsky District Court of Kemerovo, on October 18, 2022, Koreshkov posted comments on "VKontakte", which "contains an assertion and justification of the need to commit hostile (violent) actions aimed at inciting hatred against a group of persons united on the basis of belonging to pilots (pilots), commanders (pilots)".
On January 15, 2024, the Zavodskiy District Court of Kemerovo found Maxim Koreshkov guilty and sentenced him to 2 years of suspended imprisonment with a probation period of 2 years. The court imposed on the man the obligation not to change his place of residence without notification, to register and appear for registration once a month.
