Case Description
In August 2024, a 45-year-old local resident, Ukrainian citizen Lyudmila Gonchar, was detained in Moscow. She was accused of financing an "extremist" organization. According to the investigation, Gonchar transferred 1000 rubles to the "Anti-Corruption Foundation" (FBK) of Alexei Navalny after the organization was recognized as "extremist. According to Gonchar, the transfer from her card was made by Rashid Aleutsinov. They worked together and were in a romantic relationship. She opened a bank card for him, from which the donation was made. At the time of the investigation, the defendant in the case was sent to a remand prison. On July 15, 2025, the Timiryazevsky District Court of Moscow found Lyudmila Gonchar guilty and sentenced her to 3 years in a general regime penal colony. 27 October 2025, the Moscow City Court left the sentence unchanged.
