On 2 October 2024, in Pskov, a criminal case was opened against politician and deputy chairman of the Yabloko party, Lev Shlosberg, for evading obligations under Russian legislation on foreign agents. According to the security forces, the politician allegedly published a video without a label. In 2024, Shlonsberg was twice brought to administrative responsibility for this. On October 18, 2024, at 6 a.m., a search was conducted at Schlossberg's residence. Their laptop and personal phone were seized from him. Searches were also conducted in the apartment of the politician's 95-year-old father, Mark Naumovich Schlossberg, and at the residences of people who have no connection to Schlossberg. After the search, Schlossberg was taken for questioning to the head of the investigative group at the investigative department for Pskov, where the politician was questioned as a suspect - no charges were brought against him. On October 20, 2024, with a search, they came to the office of the Yabloko branch in Pskov. Security forces seized the laptops of three employees and Schlossberg himself, as well as the politician's phone. On January 17, 2025, Andrey Semyonov, an investigator for particularly important cases at the Investigative Committee of the Pskov region, issued a resolution to attract Shlosberg as an accused and took a pledge from him not to leave." On July 10, 2025, a search was conducted at Schlossberg's place in Pskov. Also conducted a search in the apartment of his 96-year-old father Mark Schlossberg and in the office of the Pskov branch of Yabloko. Security forces seized equipment at these addresses. Prosecutor Schlossberg has initiated a second criminal case - 'repeated discreditation' of the Russian army. According to the investigation, on January 12, he "committed public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the purpose of protecting the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security" by posting a video on a page allegedly belonging to him on Odnoklassniki. The video recording in question refers to a debate between Lev Shlosberg and historian Yuri Pivovarov that took place on the 'Live Nail' channel. On June 11, 2025, the Pskov Regional Court placed the politician under house arrest. The politician was also banned from using the phone and the internet.
