Mardan Larisa Gennadevna

In November 2023, in Sovetsk, Kaliningrad Oblast, a 50-year-old local resident, Larissa Mordan, was detained on suspicion of attempting to set fire to the building of the local military enlistment office. According to the investigation, on November 18, 2023, at 13:49 local time, a woman approached the military enlistment office, set fire to three bottles of turpentine she had brought, and threw them one by one at the wall of the enlistment office building, which caught fire. After the arson, Mordan ran away. It is claimed that someone was coordinating the woman by phone. Mordvin was accused of attempted intentional destruction of another's property out of hooligan motives by arson. The woman was placed under a written undertaking not to leave during the investigation. 2 May 2024, the Soviet City Court of the Kaliningrad Region found Larissa Iordany guilty and sentenced her to one and a half years of probation with the same probationary period. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
