Case Description
On October 28, 2025, in Perm, a 56-year-old former deputy and public figure Konstantin Okunev was detained. A criminal case was opened against him for public calls for terrorism. The reason for the criminal prosecution was anti-war posts in the Telegram channel. On October 30, 2025, the Leninsky District Court of Perm sent the defendant in the case to a pre-trial detention center. Earlier, Okuneva had repeatedly been held administratively liable in cases involving the "discrediting" of the army, inciting hatred, displaying extremist symbols, and petty hooliganism for criticizing the authorities and the "SVO. 2 February 2021 Sverdlovsk District Court arrested the former deputy for 5 days for a rally in support of Alexei Navalny.
