Case Description
In Chelyabinsk, a criminal case was opened against Konstantin Ogoltsov for calls to terrorism no later than April 2024. The reason for initiating the case was comments on VKontakte under the news publication "Hamburgers and cheeseburgers will become more expensive for Russians": "Banderites are gone, but the pilot and commander of the Legion of Freedom of Russia are REAL HEROES!" and "The Azov battalion is protecting its Fatherland." 4. Maybe they are not heroes, but they are definitely PATRIOTS!» The man was placed in custody for the duration of the investigation. On February 4, 2025, the Central Military District Court found Konstantin Ogoltsov guilty and sentenced him to six years in prison with serving the sentence in a general regime correctional colony and deprivation of the right to administer websites on the Internet for three years.
