Case Description
In Tyumen, no later than August 2023 (the exact date is unknown), a criminal case was opened against local resident Konstantin Bugrov for "fakes" about the Russian army. The reason for the criminal prosecution was publications on the network. The first post was published on February 24, 2022, the day Russia began full-scale military action against Ukraine. The next one is August 10 of the same year. At the time the posts were published, Bugrov had not yet reached the age of majority. The chosen measure of restraint is unknown. No later than August 2023, the Leninsky District Court of Tyumen sent a young man to a psychiatric hospital for examination. On November 25, 2024, the Leninsky District Court of Tyumen found Konstantin Bugrov guilty and sentenced him to 4 months of compulsory labor in a correctional institution with a 5% deduction from his salary for the state.
