Case Description
No later than November 2025, a criminal case was initiated against a 48-year-old local resident, Konstantin Bernatov, in the village of Novaya Zhizn, Stavropol Krai. He was accused of financing extremist activities. According to the investigation, the man, knowing that the "Anti-Corruption Foundation" is a banned extremist organization in Russia, transferred money to its account after watching a video with information about fundraising. There is no information about the measure of restraint. On January 13, 2026, the Budyonnovsk City Court of the Stavropol Territory found Konstantin Bernatov guilty and sentenced him to 3 years of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony.
