In April 2022, three anti-war activists who were pasting stickers with the text 'No to War' were detained in Moscow." They were charged under the article "robbery. An unknown person attacked Anastasia Polyakova, Kirill Timofeev, and Lilia Manyukhina while they were posting stickers. The man threatened activists with a traumatic pistol. During the conflict, the activists took the pistol and ran away. After the criminal case was opened, it became known that the attacker's name is Yuri Korovin. According to information from the case materials, Korovin was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and broken ribs. On April 19, 2022, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sent all three defendants in the case into custody. No later than September 16, 2022, the measure of restraint for them was changed: Anastasia Polyakova was placed under house arrest, while Kirill Timofeev and Lilia Manyukhina were released on their own recognizance not to leave. 2 March 2023, Judge Irina Buneeva of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sentenced Kirill, Anastasia and Lilia to 2 years 5 months of compulsory labour. Before the sentence came into force, all three were released on their own recognizance not to leave. October 30, 2023, the Moscow City Court overturned the verdict and returned the case to the prosecutor for re-qualification under a more severe article on theft of weapons by a group of persons with the use of violence. Manyukhina and Timofeeva managed to leave Russia. The case against them was separated into a separate proceeding. June 17, 2024, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow decided to suspend the consideration of the case, declared Manyukhin and Timofeev wanted, and arrested them in absentia. On October 25, 2024, the Tverskoi District Court of Moscow found Anastasia Polyakova guilty and sentenced her to 6 years in a general regime colony. The girl was taken into custody in the courtroom. 26 May 2025, the Moscow City Court mitigated Polyakova's sentence, replacing her 6 years of imprisonment with 5 years of probation. On August 30, 2025, Manukhin was detained in Armenia at Russia's request for extradition. The girl was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
