Case Description
On January 7 at 19:04 in the Admiralteysky district of St. Petersburg, at house 151 on the Embankment of the Fontanka River, unknown persons set fire to automobile tires near the door of the apartment of the host of Radio Sputnik and one of the authors of the program "Izolenta" Trofim Tatarsky. The fire was extinguished, no one was injured as a result of the incident. Based on this fact, the police opened a criminal case for the destruction of someone else's property by arson. The next day, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of g. Three local residents were detained in Kolpino, in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, on charges of arson. Two of them have been previously convicted. According to law enforcement officials, the young people acted on the instructions of "curators from Ukraine for monetary reward."
